Job purpose:
The BrainoBrain Program Coordinator & Instructor delivers high-quality BrainoBrain lessons and oversees the coordination of the program within the school. This role combines instructional excellence with program management, ensuring effective teaching of mental arithmetic, life skills, and personality development, while also managing program operations, parent communication, and event organization.
SCOPE OF JOB:
- Staff management: N/A
- Budget management: N/A
- Problem solving: Address challenges such as student engagement, adapting BrainoBrain methodologies to diverse learners, scheduling classes, coordinating events, and liaising with parents.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with students, parents/guardians, colleagues, BrainoBrain headquarters, and school leadership to ensure smooth program delivery and alignment with standards.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Program Coordinator Responsibilities
- Program Operations: Coordinate BrainoBrain classes, schedules, and enrollment processes to ensure smooth delivery.
- Liaison with Headquarters: Communicate regularly with BrainoBrain HQ for curriculum updates, training schedules, certification renewals, and reporting.
- Event Management: Organize workshops, competitions, and promotional events to showcase student achievements and program impact.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor program outcomes, ensure compliance with BrainoBrain standards, and maintain documentation for audits and evaluations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary contact for parents and school leadership regarding program inquiries, progress updates, and integration into the wider academic framework.
- Resource Coordination: Provide input on resource allocation (materials, tools, event expenses) to support effective program delivery.
- Instructor Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery: Teach BrainoBrain lessons using abacus mental arithmetic, NLP techniques, personality development, and creative activities.
- Child Development: Support holistic growth in concentration, memory, creativity, confidence, and leadership skills.
- Classroom Management: Create a supportive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment that encourages discipline and independence.
- Assessment & Feedback: Evaluate student progress using BrainoBrain methods, provide constructive feedback, and prepare bilingual reports for parents and leadership.
- Professional Development: Attend BrainoBrain training and certification programs, and stay updated on best practices in child development and life skills education.
- Collaboration: Work closely with instructors and support staff to ensure effective lesson delivery and student engagement.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- The employee is expected to support and perform additional duties as reasonably assigned by their line manager, provided such tasks align with their role and area of expertise.
- English
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Psychology, or related field.
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or a relevant subject, with a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Teaching/training experience with children aged 5–14; prior BrainoBrain certification or willingness to undergo training for 2 years as a minimum
- Strong instructional and classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Organizational and coordination skills for program management.
- Proficiency in English
- Familiarity with BrainoBrain methodologies and tools.
- Ability to design and manage events/workshops.
