Books Sales and Marketing Manager
This position is based in the Sipar Office in Phnom Penh, with occasional travel to provinces required.
- Under the authority of the Director General of Sipar, in collaboration with other Sipar leaders:
- Develop, propose, and implement sales strategies, action plans, targets, and department budgets aligned with Sipar Books' sales objectives.
- Lead, manage, and coach the sales team across all customer segments (NGOs, bookshops, schools, etc.) by providing clear direction and oversight to achieve sales targets, market share goals, and profitability objectives.
- Personally manage key account relationships.
- Produce weekly reports on sales team activities and plans according to management standards.
- Optimize product pricing to ensure appropriate customer and product mix while minimizing rebates to maximize sales contributions.
- Continuously expand Sipar's customer base and develop new prospects to maintain market position.
- Develop, propose, and implement marketing strategies, including:
- Managing digital and non-digital communication channels,
- Establishing ongoing feedback processes with the editorial team to address market needs,
- Maintaining comprehensive market intelligence on competitors, products, and pricing.
- Cambodian nationality is preferred.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or another related field.
- Have at least 3-year experience in the Sales & Marketing and Sales Team Management.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal communication, negotiation, leadership and organizational skills.
- Must be hardworking, flexible and able to work under pressure.
- Fluent in Khmer and English.
- ICT skills: Microsoft Office, Photo and Video Editing Tools is a plus.
- Have real interest in Book and Reading.
