The Mekong River Commission (MRC) is the only inter-governmental agency that works directly with the governments of Cambodia, Lao PDR, Thailand, and Vietnam on joint management of shared water resources and sustainable development of the Mekong River.
As a regional facilitating and advisory body governed by water and environment ministers of the four countries, the MRC aims to ensure that the Mekong water is managed and developed in the most efficient and sustainable manner—that mutually benefits all Member Countries and minimises harmful effects on people and the environment in the Lower Mekong River Basin.

Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
English - Fluent
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or other related fields
Work History:
Senior official/principal in the field of auditing, finance, accounting or related areas, including at least five (5) years working at the international level for 15 years as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
Professional qualification in accountancy (e.g., Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant) is desirable
A minimum of 15 years experience as a with the MRC in senior official capacity for at least five (5) years. However, he/she must not have been connected with the MRC Secretariat in any capacity during the three (3) years preceding appointment.
Strong knowledge or experience relevant to the evolving risk profile through formal qualifications, professional certifications, or board-level oversight experience in domain such as cybersecurity is desirable.
Strong integrity, independence, objectivity, and sound professional judgement.
Immediate availability will be considered an advantage.
