Finance And Accounting Unit Manager

Position Summary

Finance and Accounting Manager provides management on the overall aspects of company’s financial management including tracking company’s profits and losses, preparing financial report, analyzing key ratio, and supporting designs, improvement and maintaining effective financial systems and processes. In addition, s/he assists head of finance, Admin and HR to oversee the admin management of the company.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  •  Assist the HFND in managing and advising on finance and accounting matters, particularly IFRS 9 and IFRS 17 implementation.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze IFRS reports, calculations, financial statements, and regulatory reports in compliance with CIFRS and applicable regulations.
  • Review and update finance and accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards.
  •  Work closely with the Finance Department and external auditors during audit reviews and full audits under CIFRS.
  • Support the review of disclosure reports and ensure accurate and timely submission to relevant regulators and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyze the company’s financial performance, profit and loss, key financial ratios, risks, investments, and reserves, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Assist with budgeting, cost analysis, expense control, financial planning, and evaluation of financial reporting and accounting processes.
  •  Research new and updated IFRS requirements and support their implementation within the company.
  • Identify financial risks and recommend improvements to financial controls, reporting systems, and accounting procedures.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Head of Finance, Admin and HR Department.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting finance, CAT pursing ACCA. is required
Work History:
  • Financial management for 4 years as a minimum

  •  Good working knowledge of computer software.
  •  Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and Khmer.

Assistant To Ceo

Position Circumstances

Position Summary

The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to CEO and in direct contact with ExCom of Serendib Microinsurance Plc. The role will be assisting management in area of administration, board papers, translation, checklist of documents preparation, project management, legal work & compliance documentation and other task assigned by CEO, Advisor and Board.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  •  Translate, proofread, edit, and review documents between Khmer and English, including correspondence, policies, reports, and official documents.
  •  Provide administrative and executive support to the CEO and Company Secretary, including document management, filing, correspondence, report preparation, and travel arrangements.
  •  Coordinate management, committee, and CEO meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, arranging schedules, and following up with relevant departments.
  •  Support legal and compliance activities by monitoring relevant laws, regulations, regulatory updates, and compliance requirements.
  •  Coordinate with relevant ministries, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure the company remains updated on applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
  •  Prepare and consolidate monthly management, legal, compliance, and departmental reports for the CEO, Advisors, and Board.
  •  Collect and organize reports from department heads and ensure timely submission to management.
  •  Maintain confidentiality, proper filing, and classification of company documents and information.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the CEO
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Law or Art in English in the field of translation/interpretation is required
Work History:
  • Legal and Compliance in Legal Firms and Law Practices for 1 year is preferred

  • Minimum 02-year working experience as a Translator, ideally MDI or Retail banks.
  • Administrative experience is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English and Khmer with strong written and oral communication skills.

Position Summary

Business Partnership Officer focuses on managing day-to-day sale activities, lead management processes, generating day-to-day appointments, and presenting insurance partnership proposals to potential partners. The role is assisting the Direct sales Manager to achieve company sale performance target and other tasks assigned by line manager.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Generating daily sale appointments for line managers and go for presenting business proposals to potential partners.
  •  Running daily sale activities from planning, controlling, meeting, sale follow up and close deal process with potential partners.
  • Delivering sale performance with line manager to hit company sale target
  •  Assisting sale activities, sale training with line managers, and managing new sources of business growth from business partners.  
  • Support and initiate sale campaign, sale promotion to existing partners to general new source of premium growth
  •  Prospecting and listing the potential list of customers or partners segment and set schedule for appointments to present business opportunity and collaboration with the assistance from line manager.
  • Produce daily, weekly and monthly management and presenting the progress
  • Review existing sale activities and proactively develop new sale activities to generate new sources of premium growth.
  • Provide sale administration support to existing non captive partners and other changes request may have related to Surecore system and sale portal
  • Performs any other duties assigned by Deputy Head of Sale.

The Finance and Treasury Unit Manager is responsible for leading the financial management, treasury operations, liquidity management, investment activities, financial reporting, budgeting, and regulatory compliance of the company. The role ensures effective cash flow management, compliance with CIFRS/IFRS standards and insurance regulations, optimization of investment returns, financial risk management, and support for strategic business decisions.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Lead Finance & Treasury functions and provide financial advice to management.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial, regulatory, Board, and Group-level reports in compliance with CIFRS and applicable regulations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors on financial reviews and audits.
  •  Monitor IFRS and regulatory updates and ensure timely compliance and reporting.
  •  Review and improve accounting policies, procedures, financial systems, and internal controls in line with CIFRS and Group standards.
  •  Analyze financial performance, profitability, risks, investments, and key financial indicators to support management decisions.
  •  Support budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and monitor actual vs. budget performance.
  • Ensure proper asset safeguarding, financial controls, and appropriate reserving practices.
  •  Maintain good relationships with regulators and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Support Finance team development, training, and capacity building.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Head of Finance, Admin and HR Department.
