Assistant Tax Manager (1 Position)
- Responsible for overseeing all aspects of tax compliance, reporting and strategy for the PCL group.
- Responsible for the full set of accounts under IFRS.CIFS, general ledger (GL), Financial reporting, and validating employee claims. And possessing a sound understanding of tax, local laws, and listed company requirements.
- Responsible for reporting to Finance Controller/Sr Finance Leader here in Malaysia.
- Preparing and filing tax returns, developing tax-saving strategies, managing relationships with tax authorities, ensuring tax risks are mitigated and keeping the organization in compliance with ever evolving PCL tax law.
- Serve as primary point of contact for tax related issues, working closely with other business units and external advisors.
- Strong technical expertise in PCL tax law, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex tax matters and crucial for success in this role.
- Any assignment assigned by the Group Finance / Management.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Qualified Accountant with professional certification
- Minimum 3 years’ professional working experience on auditing work
- Deadline-oriented and able to work under time constraints
- Required language Khmer and English
- Strong understanding of Tax regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
Finance Controller (1 Position)
- To oversee the Finance function in PCL.
- To review the management account of PCL Group.
- Responsible for full set of accounts under IFRS/CIFRS, general ledger (GL), financial reporting, validating employee claims, and possessing a sound understanding of tax, local laws, and listed company requirements.
- Responsible for reporting to Group FC and Boad of Director in Malaysia.
- Liaise with Banker, Auditor, Tax agent if required.
- Ensure compliance to local law and regulations.
- Check on proper approval, classification of transactions, proper supporting documents for staff claim.
- To improve internal processes within the finance department.
- Review company tax computation.
- Dealing with solicitor on banking arrangement.
- Provide suggestions to other departments on their queries.
- Discuss with It personnel to co-ordinate reporting by using Accpac correctly.
- Any assignment assigned by Group Finance / Management.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, ACCA certification, Finance or any related field
- At least 7 years’ experience working in Finance and Accounting role
- Required language Khmer and English
- Strong understanding data analysis skill
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Mathematical comprehension skills
- Proactive, fast learner and able to handle multitasking
Accountant Executive (2 Positions)
- To assist in monthly tan return and account closing
- Proceed for payment arrangement and posting all payment and receipt to system (Sage 300)
- Checking staff claim, close advance and advance request in system.
- Filling documents, copying and scanning documents.
- other tasks assigned by superiors.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or any related field
- At least 1-2 years’ experience working in Finance or Accounting role
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Proactive, fast learner and able to handle multitasking
- Experience in accounting software is a plus.
