Assistant Project Manager (1 Position)
This position is for Social Inclusive Livelihood Program with Writing Skills
- Assist the Project Manager with reports writing including the data collection of their project activities and assist in data analysis and reporting.
- In charge of the BMZ‐SSF report writing (Protection and Promotion of Children and Youths Rights in Asia) under the supervision of the SRP PM and the focal person at PP. Ensure program expenditures are matching BMZ‐SSF budget.
- Network with various Department for appropriate support to disable and families (PHD, PDRD, Disabled people Organization (DPO) POEYS, PoSVY, Women’s Affairs)
- Assist the Project Manager in fields visit monitoring to the 2 Social Workers working at MHG and Schools with Development Facilitators, using the monitoring forms set by the program.
- Provide technical support and training to Social Workers related to school supporting committee, mental health and livelihood project activities.
- Liaise with the CCAMH program of Caritas Cambodia from Kandal for mental health issues faced in his/her assigned villages.
- Assist the Project Manager in basic monitoring tools for the Caritas Cambodia Social Inclusion program of Siem Reap in coordination with the SRP Provincial Programs Director.
- Assist the PM with reviews of the MIS tools developed by PME N.O. and assist staff with filling the forms.
- Any other assignment as needed.
- University degree in Social Science, Mental Health, Rural Development, entrepreneurship or other equivalent skills and knowledge gained through working with INGOs.
- At least 3‐5 years’ experience in Social work, in Community Development for improved livelihoods.
- Experience in reports writing and cases studies.
- Ability to collect data, analyze, plan and report timely.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Khmer.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Computer proficiency (MSWord, Excel, Power Point, Internet, and E‐mail) knowledge of computer programming, database and statistic is a plus.
Social Worker (1 Position)
JOB PURPOSE:
The Social worker is responsible for Anti-Human Trafficking and Safe migration program. This program seeks to provide comprehensive support, care and protection to foreign and local survivors and victims of human trafficking in the form of forced labor, forced marriage and internet scamming. The approach must include survivors/victims, family, social service providers, law enforcement and other relevant governmental and development partners firmly work to ensure the result of the project reach to goal. The comprehensive range of project activities and the expected outcomes will help to facilitate the recovery of survivors and victims and contribute to a reduction in incidences of these crimes in the country.
- Special duties and responsibilities:
- Well understanding the internalize the vision, mission, goal and comply with the guiding of Caritas Cambodia based.
- Respect and commit to the rules and conditions of Caritas Cambodia.
- Attend and actively participate in the trainings and learn about a variety of topics related to personal, spiritual and professional growth, as well as policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain loving; trusting relationships and keep confidential with survivors/victims, their family and other stakeholders of the project through meeting, peer talk and conduct training/event.
- Be a good role model for Caritas Cambodia and several of project participants/ beneficiary.
- Duties and responsibilities for project implementation:
- Participate meaningful about the program objectives, activities and as well as approach to apply of each activity to reaching the project goal.
- Implement the project through internal guide line or procedure of case management.
- Access and interview the cases before and after cases intake to ensure the cases is match the target program.
- Provide information/ rule and regulation of Caritas Shelter and referral service where needed.
- Identify the cases in need of assistance during their stay and after re-integration.
- Contribute with case management team to provide counseling to survivors/victims when needed and provide information regarding to referral services.
- Conduct clients assessment (need, strength and situation and relevant assessment).
- Be creative working with the survivors/victims, especially to enhance their family’s socio-economic problems; discuss with survivors/victims to re-build their lives.
- Attend and participate in regular Social Work Team meetings, anti-trafficking and child protection training and seminars.
- Implement the project activities both in center based, community based and partner workshop based in good collaboration with team, trainers/teacher and other stakeholders.
- Ensure survivors/victims are reach to target planned and organize orientation to all survivors/victims.
- Conduct regular assessment survivors’ outcome in collaboration with key stakeholder as a good team spirit.
- Lead the clients care and Wellbeing activities for all survivors/victims
- Provide regular feedback to Manger.
- Promote and practice high degree of accountability, responsibility and transparency.
- Other work request by Manager.
- Administration:
- Participate in important meetings with the team and as assign by Project Manager.
- Participate in Caritas staff meetings.
- Develop good communications with team, caritas staffs, and other stakeholders.
- Collect all documents related to the project.
- Keep files in order: Expenditure, project activities and well organize the survivors file both hard and soft copy.
- Monitoring and evaluation:
- Make monthly plan and report and submit to Manger in the first week of month.
- Write short weekly plans and reports of activities.
- Collect all data every month and compile monthly statistics.
- Assess the project every month to find area of improvement and solution.
- Learn to write small stories as “case study” for newsletters and reporting to donors.
- Capacity building:
- Assess own training needs related to job and current position.
- Learn to improve skill of counseling, survivor’s service and psychological skills…etc.
- Learn by doing; observing and seek support when needed.
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services or related field
- At least 3 years’ experience of working with survivors/victims.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to address the problems and think critically, good counselling skills and analytical skills
- Manage time and prioritize tasks efficiently and work well in a team.
- Knowledge in project management, monitoring and reporting
- Good communication skills.
- Recognize the importance to be flexible within the job role
- Good interpersonal skills, especially showing respect, politeness and cultural sensitively
