Position Summary

The position is for Chinese-Speaking

Reports to: Manager

Working Schedule: 9:00 - 6:00pm (Monday - Saturday)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Assistant Manager who is fluent in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day operations, ensure smooth communication between departments, and play a key role in supporting our Chinese-speaking clients and team members. This role requires strong leadership, multitasking abilities, and fluency in both Chinese and English.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Support the management team in overseeing daily operations and ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Serve as a point of contact for Chinese-speaking clients, partners, and vendors.
  • Handle internal and external communication, translating between Chinese and English as needed.
  • Assist in managing the team, providing guidance, and supporting staff development.
  • Monitor project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Collaborate with various departments to address issues and provide solutions.
  • Assist other assigned tasks from Manager
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Fluent in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English (written and verbal).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role (Assistant Manager, Supervisor, or similar position).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience working in an international environment is a plus.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, maintaining IT infrastructure, and supporting data management, and monitoring.   • Minimum of 3 years of experience in MIS, IT support, or network/system administration, with specific experience in live streaming or broadcast environments preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in server management (Linux/Windows environments).
  • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, etc.).
  • Experience with content delivery networks (CDN)
  • Familiarity with cloud computing services (google cloud etc..)
  • Knowledge of video/audio production systems and software (e.g., vMix).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for both software and hardware-related issues.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Ability to work under pressure, especially during live events.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
  • Good English speaking Level (MUST)

This position will oversee daily office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and filing, while also managing financial processes such as invoicing, budgeting, and reporting. The ideal candidate should be a detail-oriented, organized individual with a strong understanding of both administrative and accounting functions.

  • Administrative Tasks:
  • Managing office supplies, ordering as needed, and maintaining stock levels.
  • Organizing and maintaining filing systems, both physical and digital.
  • Scheduling and coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Preparing and submitting reports, presentations, and documents as required by management.
  • Managing office logistics, including assisting with internal events and meetings.
  • Ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations and troubleshooting any office-related issues.
  • Accounting & Financial Tasks:
  • Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Processing payroll, including managing deductions and ensuring timely payments.
  • Reconciling bank statements, accounts, and ensuring accurate financial records.

  • Shift Operation:
  • Work in a 3-shift schedule to ensure 24/7 operational coverage.
  • Monitor progress in real-time, ensuring everything runs smoothly, and assist with adjustments as needed.
  • Track and report any issues encountered during shifts and provide actionable feedback for improvements.

  • Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; related field (e.g., IT, Media or English) preferred.
  • Prior experience in live streaming, video production, or technical support roles is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and team coordination.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working in a 24/7 operational environment, including night shifts and weekends.
  • Good English speaking Level (MUST)
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to remain seated for extended periods.
  • Availability to work in rotating shifts, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
