Duties & Responsibilities:
- The role includes post-op nursing, and theatre nursing, with focused extra training in orthopaedic limb reconstruction and external fixation.
- The nurse will also learn to scrub as theatre scrub, assist, and manage all types of frames, including monolateral and circular frames, as well as post-operative care.
- During the job, the nurse is also expected to gain theoretical understanding of frame principles and pre-operative planning for limb reconstruction.
- Ensure timely bank payments
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
- Khmer - Good
- English - Good
Work History:
- Obtain at least experience of medical experience for 1 year
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
- Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent
- Knowledge of nursing equipment
- Verbal and written communication skills both Khmer and English
- Some computer skills including computer software and internet searching skills
- Newly qualified Cambodian nurse and registration
- Strong interest in surgical care
- Able to use English at a basic level.
- Careful, practical, and willing to learn both nursing management and theory of external frames

- The incumbent is capable of working on the weekend

- Excellent teamwork, people skills and observational skills
- Ability to use initiative and deal with emotionally charged and pressured situations
- Good ethics, follow the guidance and open to learn.
