Agriculture Program Assistant
Position Circumstances

Duty station: Battambang (with regular travel to Samlaut and Pailin)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist the Agriculture Program Officer (APO) in managing and implementing reforestation project which includes seedlings planting, and nurseries management & monitoring.
- Assist the APO in managing and implementing cash crops and income generation project.
- Provide technical guidance and hands-on support for sustainable beekeeping, including hive setup and maintenance, pest control, and honey harvesting.
- Support the APO in developing annual budgets and project implementation.
- Collaborate with other Maddox Foundation programs as relevant, particularly the Natural Resources Management and Education programs.
- Coordinate between Maddox Foundation, relevant counterparts at the community’s level.
- Assist with the annual assessment process for each target community using established criteria.
- Provide community-based follow-up support to each targeted community as needed.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
- Completed formal education in forestry or agronomy.
- Relevant experience in community work is preferred.
- Basic knowledge or practical experience in beekeeping and apiary management, with a willingness to learn advanced techniques.
- Basic English proficiency is required.
- Basic skills in Computer use such as MS Office and email are required.
- Physically fit, able to drive a car/motorcycle, holding a valid driving license, and willing to travel.
