Announcement Description

The Royal Government of Cambodia has received a loan from the World Bank for supporting the Land Allocation for Social and Economic Development Project III (LASED III). The project development objective is to provide access to land tenure security, agriculture and social services, and selected Infrastructure to small farmers and communities in the project areas. The project now is intended to apply part of loan to proceed for the selection of the above consultancy services.

Agriculture Development Facilitators (8 Positions)

Position Summary

Duty station: Three (3) ADFs in Ratanakiri Province, One (1) ADF in Mondulkiri Province, One (1) ADF in Kratie Province, One (1) ADF in Banteay Meanchey Province, One (1) ADF in Kampong Chhnang Province, and One (1) ADF in Steung Treng Province

Expected Contract Start: December, 2024

Contract Duration: 24 moths with possible to extend upon the satisfactory of the performance evaluation, and subject to the availability of the project budget.

The MAFF/LASED III Project is now inviting eligible qualified individual applicants for the eight (8) positions of Agriculture Development Facilitators (ADF) for the LASEDIII project. The applicant is instructed to submit Letter of Expression of Interest (EOI) and detail CV by or before 18 November, 2024 . In their Letter of Expression of Interest, the applicant must dedicate the preference target province they want to apply.

Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • At least graduated an Associate Degree or a Bachelor degree on Agriculture and Rural Community Development or other relevant fields.
  • The outstanding graduated students are encouraged to apply;
  • At least two (2) years-experience of working in agriculture and rural development with the Government institutions, UN and/or NGOs;
  • Experience working with landless and land poor people and vulnerable groups in rural areas in enhancing the livelihood improvement;
  • Preferably the applicants had been trained in facilitation and coordination skills;
  • Good of English communication skills, written and spoken.
  • Availability and willingness to undertake visits to the target communes.
