As part of the Swiss Cooperation Prgramme in the Mekong Region 2022-2026, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation is making a financial contribution to the Kantha Bopha hospitals (KBH).
Contract duration: 1 June 2026 to 31 December 2027 with approximately three to five days per months, equal to a maximum of 60 working days per year.
- Technical and operational advice and follow-up of SDC’s support to KBH including support in strategic discussions and networking with representatives from KBH, Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation Swiss Kantha Bopha Foundation and the Royal Government of Cambodia.
- Follow-up technical discussions in the health sector on behalf of SCO CAM and provide feedback on all health-related developments, with a focus on health standards, capacities, financing and governance.
- Timely updates of new developments from social media/press release Prepare SCO CAM’s and support in communication of Swiss Engagement.
- Participation in the Joint Advisory Board meetings of the two KB foundations and participate in them as appropriate.
- Support SCO CAM’s outreach to organizations and stakeholders of the health sector.
- Support SCO CAM in planning, monitoring and reporting of the Cooperation Programme 2022 – 2026 as well as in SCO CAM’s communication with regard to health-related indicators, activities and achievements.

- Master's Degree in or equivalent in health sector in Cambodia or other relevant fields
- Knowledge, expertise and existing network in the health sector in Cambodia and good knowledge in health financing
- Excellent analytical, including financial, skills and experience in reviewing and extracting key information from long and complex reports
- Familiar with the Kantha Bopha Hospitals
- Fluent in Khmer and English (in speaking as well as in writing), French is an advantage
- Diplomatic skills, able to represent SCO CAM and discuss on politically sensitive issues related to KHB
