Based in: Siem Pang District, Stung Treng Province
Salary range: $300-$400 depending on experiences and qualifications
Duration: One Year contract with three- month probation (Renewable)
Starting date: 02 June 2025

Overall purpose of job:
The Administrative and Finance Assistant will support the Deputy Head of Headquarters and Administration and Finance Unit at Siem Pang in managing financial and administrative tasks which are crucial to the operations of Rising Phoenix at Siem Pang Wildlife Sanctuary. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for conservation-focused administration.
- Verify and process expense documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Liaise with banks for transactions and financial statements.
- Maintain bank and cash books and oversee weekly/monthly reconciliations.
- Manage cash and bank transactions for Siem Pang operations.
- Assist in prepare and oversee monthly budgets, budget requests, and financial reports.
- Assist in procurement and logistics management for Rising Phoenix operations.
- Oversee fuel and spare parts stock, ensuring proper tracking and reporting.
- Assist and support staff orientation, training, and compliance with policies.
- Manage office filing systems, government letters, and personnel records.
- Coordinate pay slip signings for Rising Phoenix staff and government personnel.
- Facilitate guesthouse reservations, mission paperwork, and VIP hospitality.
- Assist in office equipment maintenance and supply stock management.
- Implement waste management systems at the Siem Pang office.
- Support food support payments and ration distribution for law enforcement units.
- Execute any other duties as assigned by line management.
- Background in finance, business administration, or related fields (preferred).
- 1–2 years of experience in administrative or financial roles.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently, under pressure and with a high level of commitment to complete the tasks on time and to a high standard;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel for financial reporting.
- Ability to liaise effectively with banks, government agencies, and internal teams.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and procurement processes is advantageous.
- Good communications and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with people from diverse backgrounds;
- Fluency in Khmer, with basic to intermediate English skills sufficient for workplace communication.
