GIZ CRAS focuses on „Strengthening the resilience of poor population groups to climate change in selected ASEAN states, taking special account of the impact of COVID-19 in Cambodia and Viet Nam. In Cambodia, the project is cooperating with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) and supports value chain actors in particular smallholder farmers of cassava and cashew. The project is composed of 4 outputs: 1) Capacity Development for climate-resilient production methods, 2) Improving the cooperation along the value chain, 3) Strengthening the technical capacities of public and private stakeholders and 4) Regional level: Public and private stakeholders are informed about experiences in climate resilience. The project is commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) from March 2021 to February 2024 with a contribution of up to six Million Euro.
