The Affiliated Network for Social Accountability (ANSA) Cambodia, in a non-profit and independent local organization that was officially registered at the Ministry of Interior in 2015, with MISSION defined to enhance citizen capacity, fight against corruption, and promote good governance to improve public service delivery.

ANSA is implementing a program on accountability and transparency in various regional and sub-national levels to ensure that the implementation of all policies benefits the beneficiaries, young farmers, and especially young women entrepreneurs in Cambodia by responding to governance in a business environment. The program aims to promote constructive dialogue between civil society organizations and the government to promote responsive governance.

In supporting our operation from 2022, ANSA is looking to recruit one position of Admin-Finance Officer,

and many interns to join our “Young Women Entrepreneurs’ Voice For Better Business Environment (YWEVBBE).”

Announcement Positions

Admin-Finance Officer (1 Position)

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Conduct budgetary and accounting monitoring and budget revision
  • Supervise internal management of the representation and financial management system of ANSA
  • Draw up and implement administrative and financial procedures (treasury, management control, accounting)
  • Manage month and year-end closing report
  • Manage monthly and yearly tax declaration
  • Manage NSSF payment process
  • Provide supervise the accountant and admin team and provider orientation on financial awareness to all staff members to ensure the financial procedure
  • Doing monthly staff payroll and another relevance
  • Support the representative and drawing up of representative’s budget and monitor
  • Secure the relationship with the operational department and support them
  • Participate in the construction and revision of the project budget
  • Prepare donor financial reports
  • Dealing with the auditor (external and internal)
  • Review and comment on the contracts
  • Other necessary tasks as required
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Cambodian
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Financial management
  • At least 3 years-experience in a similar position with NGO, in either a management or supervision role
  • Expert in accounting and management control, especially using Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks Accounting system
  • Knowledge in Cambodia tax roles
  • Ability to meet deadlines and can apply to work online to accomplish the task on-time
  • Having knowledge/guidelines of the major institutional donors could be a plus
  • Able to manage donor funds by multi donors and stricture roles
  • Have a strong commitment to the revision and mission of ANSA
  • Ability to speak and write fluently in both and English
  • Ability to frequent joint the meeting/workshop as needed
 
 

Interns

Position Summary

Schedule: Full-time (8 hours per day).

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Support Program coordinator (PC)/Project Officer (PO) to organize and facilitate workshops or training events
  • Support the facilitation and communications among youths beneficiaries
  • Support PC/PO in writing minutes of meetings/reports from any workshops/training
  • Support PO with the field work visit/implementation in the targeted area (inside Phnom Penh or province sometimes)
  • and support other assigned tasks by PC/PO
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Youth aged from 18 years old
  • Studying in year 2 or more at university majoring in Management, Public Administration, International relations, business management, or other related major
  • Can use the English language at a fair level and know how to use social media for communication purposes (Email, Telegram, etc)
  • Willing to build positive communication among the project’s targeted beneficiaries (youth and young women entrepreneurs) and relevant stakeholders such as local authorities and NGOs
  • Friendly, honest, patient, and willing to develop yourself
  • Responsible, punctual, and able to work as a team
