Position Summary

The Administration & Operations Manager is responsible for the effective day-to-day administration and operational management of the University. The position ensures that campus facilities, services, resources, vendors, administrative processes, and operational support are well coordinated to provide a safe, efficient, professional, and student-centred university environment. As the University is a young and growing institution, the Manager is expected to be hands-on, proactive, adaptable and solutions-oriented, with the ability to establish systems, improve processes, coordinate across departments, and support the University’s growth.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day university administration and operations, ensuring efficient, timely and professional delivery of administrative and support services.
  • Develop and implement administrative policies, procedures and SOPs to strengthen operational consistency, accountability and service quality.
  • Oversee campus facilities and services, including maintenance, cleanliness, security, utilities, safety and the effective use of university assets.
  • Manage timely submissions to relevant ministries and agencies for regulatory compliance and records updates.
  • Manage procurement, suppliers and service providers, ensuring value for money, quality service, timely delivery and compliance with university policies.
  • Coordinate operational support for university activities and events, including orientation, examinations, graduation, meetings, conferences and student activities.
  • Ensure responsive support to students, staff and academic departments, resolving operational issues promptly and maintaining a professional, student-centred environment.
  • Monitor operational budgets, expenditure and resources, identifying opportunities for cost control, efficiency and improved resource utilisation.
  • Lead and supervise administrative and operations staff, setting clear performance standards, allocating responsibilities and developing staff capabilities.
  • Monitor health, safety, security and operational risks, ensuring appropriate preventive measures, emergency procedures and incident reporting are in place.
  • Drive continuous improvement and institutional development by identifying operational gaps, introducing practical systems and digital solutions, and supporting the University's growth and strategic initiatives.

Languages:
  • English - Good is required
Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, Facilities management, Education Management or a related discipline is required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, Facilities Management, Education Management or a related discipline as a minimum
Work History:
  • Educational (Schools, Universities) for 3 to 5 years is required
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • A Master’s degree or relevant professional qualification is an advantage.
  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial position, preferably in higher education organisation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in university administration, facilities, procurement, vendor management and general operations.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement SOPs, workflows, controls and administrative systems to improve operational efficiency.
  • Experience in supervising, motivating and developing administrative and support staff, with the ability to build a collaborative and accountable team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant digital tools and English language, with the ability to prepare budgets, KPI reports, schedules and management information.

Head Of School - School Of Logistics And Supply Chain (LSC)

Position Summary

Heads/Program leaders are academic leaders who have academic, administrative, quality assurance and fiscal responsibilities for a school. Currently we are looking for a Head of School/Program leader in Logistics and Supply Chain.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily operations of an academic school, covering the management of programs, lecturers, students and classroom administration.
  • Provide strong leadership to the school staff and teaching faculty.
  • Teach to understand the learning environment of our students so as to adopt initiatives to enhance their learning experience.
  • Supervise and train the teaching faculty on EAMU’s Way of teaching, smooth conduct of classes, assessments and activities to support good academic performance
  • Develop and collaborate with local hospitality businesses and communities for enhancements of our LSC programmes, including internships and job opportunities.
  • Manage to achieve maximum progressions and completion through proper record of student attendance, conduct and performance.
  • Manage the activities of both pre- and post- stages of each teaching semester, including course planning, resources management and class scheduling
  • Improve the Logistics Training Centre to support the academic courses so that our students gain practical skills to make them employment ready.
  • Develop initiatives and execute proactive actions to enhance the academic QA.
  • Work with Director of Academic for compliance, approval and adjustments of existing and development of new degree and technical courses.

Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • A Doctorate/ Master qualification in the Hospitality and Tourism field.
  • Hands-on managerial experience in the logistics industry is a MUST.
  • Working experience in global LSC industry is preferred.
  • Fluent in English. You are expected to communicate daily in English
  • Possess good computer skills (MS Office - Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.)
Soft Skills
  • Strong work ethics, responsible and a passion for teaching.

Academic Quality Assurance Supervisor Cum Registrar

Position Summary

The Academic Quality Assurance Supervisor cum Registrar supports the University in maintaining academic standards, quality assurance, regulatory compliance and the integrity of student academic records.

This position plays an important role in building robust academic systems, strengthening QA processes and establishing effective registry practices.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Support the DA on the development, implementation and monitoring of the University's AQA framework, policies, procedures and standards.
  • Monitor academic programmes for compliance with approved curricula, academic regulations, institutional standards and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Support the DA on  programme reviews, academic audits, self-assessments, quality reviews and follow-up actions arising from QA activities.
  • Coordinate academic assessment and examination processes, ensuring proper procedures, confidentiality, security, documentation and adherence to academic regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and secure student academic records, including admissions, progression, results, credits, awards and graduation records.
  • Coordinate the verification of student eligibility for graduation and awards, prepare relevant documentation and support graduation and certification processes.
  • Maintain reliable academic databases and prepare reports, statistics and management information relating to student performance, progression, assessment, graduation and academic quality.
  • Develop and maintain academic regulations, AQA procedures, registry SOPs and process controls, and recommend improvements.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve academic administration and quality-related issues and ensure consistent application of University policies.
