Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Accounting Tasks (Bookkeeping):
  • Maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions in the accounting system.
  • Manage invoices, accounts payable and receivable, personal income tax, cash flow, bank transfers, and contract/creditor controls.
  • Track expenses and provide accurate, timely reporting.
  • Support the accounting team with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and statements as needed.
  • Payroll and Social Security:
  • Process payroll accurately and promptly for all employees.
  • Manage and maintain employee records related to payroll, benefits, and social security contributions.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll and social security regulations.
  • Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Recruitment Support:
  • Post job advertisements on various platforms and manage the applicant tracking system.
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Support the HR team with onboarding new hires and ensure a smooth transition into the company.
  • General Administrative Tasks:
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records and files.
  • Assist in preparing, processing HR and financial documents.
  • Communicate, consult with staff, customers and colleagues abroad on related matters
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and increase efficiency.
  • Payroll and Social Security:
  • Process payroll accurately and promptly for all employees.
  • Manage and maintain employee records related to payroll, benefits, and social security contributions.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll and social security regulations.
  • Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries.

  • Assist in preparing, processing HR and financial documents.
  • Communicate, consult with staff, customers and colleagues abroad on related matters
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Good knowledge of tax regulations under Cambodia Tax Law.
  • General knowledge of bookkeeping, tax regulations, accounting principles under Cambodia Tax Law is a plus
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

  • Good understanding of and payroll regulations.
  • Experience in payroll processing, HR support, recruitment or administration in a small professional company is preferred.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (a plus).
  • Experience in a consulting firm (a plus)
  • Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
