Accounting Manager

Responsible for managing overall accounting operations, including financial reporting, tax compliance, and month-end closing. Ensures accuracy of financial records, supports audits, and improves accounting processes. Also supervises staff and coordinates with auditors and relevant stakeholders while maintaining compliance with local regulations.
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, cost accounting and taxes
- 2Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit
- Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Making sure proper documentation is maintained and followed on
- Managing month end closing activities
- Maintaining the financial records and statements as per company policy, local laws and regulations
- Making sure that company complies with all local laws and regulations on time
- Preparation, review and declaration of all the tax returns (VAT, WHT, CIT, TOS, etc)
- Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
- Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions
- Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships
- Coordinating and solving matters with consultants, auditors, tax authorities and other teams
- Excellent in MS Office applications
- Strong written and oral communication skills with fluent in English
- English - Good
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- Experience in accounting and at supervisory level
- Experience in using QuickBooks
- Good level of English (spoken and written language will be English)
- Strong analytical and synthetic skills
- Good skills of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint…
