Accounting Manager
Report to: Head of Finance
Job Summary: To act as accounting manager, business partner, and controller with strategic thinking and execution for financial excellence through strong recommendations for business alignment and improvement with a high level of accuracy.
- Develop financial policies to ensure operational efficiency.
- Identify and resolve invoicing issues, accounting discrepancies, and other financial issues.
- Ensure that monthly and periodic financial report is closed in a timely and quality manner.
- Review and evaluate for cost-reduction opportunities
- Manage financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
- Prepare budget and management activities.
- Monitor the cash collection and manage outstanding and overdue
- Oversee and control the financial performance of the business with the approved budget
- Liaise with external auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out
- Liaise with Tax auditors to ensure the tax risk and exposure are minimized
- Liaise with other Stakeholder to ensure the rule and regulation is fully complied.
- Perform finance analysis, forecasting, reporting, and risk management to identify and resolve issues, gaps, or variances.
- Provide analysis and deliver insight that links financial reports to business strategies
- Provide effective commercial procedures, or initiate change, to ensure key operational, commercial, and financial targets are delivered
- Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.
- Provide action-oriented business information to assist the management team in making the right operational and financial decisions
- Support and guideline non-finance function staff in understanding the end-to-end process and interface between finance and the business
- Provide regular feedback for soft skills improvement and drive the team for automated or online processes of the business as deemed appropriate.
- Lead and manage team under the supervision
- Closely work with the information technology team for the appropriate finance and business intelligence tools of the business to ensure the finance part is appropriately handled.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s or CPA preferred).
- Proven experience in an accounting management role, preferably in property or building management company.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Housekeeping Manager
Report to Deputy General Manager
Supervise Assistant of housekeeping – PA Supervisor- Gardening- Pool
Job Summary: The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing all cleaning operations, including indoor outdoor spaces, gardens, and pool maintenance. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective leadership, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness across all areas.
- Manage the daily activities of the housekeeping supervisor to include appropriate cleaning of all offices, concourses, washrooms, and all public spaces.
- Daily check up on housekeeping, gardening, pool activities.
- Manage and supervise all activities of deep cleaning and scheduled unit.
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct.
- Planning, organizing and directing team members to ensure the highest degree of guest satisfaction.
- Establish and enforce cleanliness and maintenance standards for all areas, including guest facilities, gardens, and pools.
- Coordinate seasonal planting, pruning, and pest control to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the grounds
- Perform regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and address any issues promptly.
- Monitor water quality and chemical levels, and perform regular maintenance and cleaning of pool facilities.
- Manage inventory of vending machine, cleaning supplies, gardening tools, and pool maintenance equipment
- Implement a system for monitoring and improving cleanliness and organize practices.
- Determines and maintains the department work schedule used to notify staff of upcoming events and ensure proper preparation and staffing for each event.
- Prepare monthly roster of housekeeping staff.
- Control staff daily report.
- Assist in preparing and managing the cleaning, gardening, and pool maintenance budget
- Ensure that all staff follow company SOP.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations for cleaning, gardening, and pool operations.
- Other responsibilities as may be further assigned by management.
- Proven experience in a cleaning management role, preferably with experience in grounds and pool management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, gardening techniques, and pool maintenance practices.
- Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, maintenance management software).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
