Accounting Manager

Position Circumstances

  • Salary: $600 - $700 Negotiable
Position Summary

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the hotel’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This role manages the accounting team and works closely with other departments to support financial stability and strategic decision-making. 

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, Payroll, Cost, Inventory).
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, WHT).
  • Monitor revenue, expenses, and cost control processes.
  • Review and reconcile accounts, bank statements, and financial records.
  • Supervise and train accounting staff.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audit activities.
  • Work closely with F&B, Front Office, Purchasing, and Cost Control teams.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • English - Good is required
  • Khmer - Medium is preferred
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required
Work History:
  • Accounting Manager in Hotels and Resorts for 2 years is preferred
  • Progressive accounting experience for 3 years as a mininum in Hotels and Resorts for 1 to 3 years as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3–5 years of experience in hotel accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and tax compliance.
  • Experience with hotel systems (Sun, QuickBooks, MYOB, Opera PMS).
Soft Skills
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
