Accounting Assistant

Position Summary

Reports to: Accountant - AUPP Liger Leadership Academy

Start date: 1 May 2025

Schedule: Full-time - Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm

This job description covers the main tasks and conveys the spirit of the sort of tasks that are anticipated by the Head of Business and Finance. Other tasks may be assigned as necessary according to the school’s needs.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Perform daily basic accounting and data entry using accounting software (Quick Book)
  • Monthly data input into tax worksheet for monthly tax returns on the deadline
  • Track and ensure proper booking of all transactions and filing of voucher numbers
  • Assist accountant in preparing various accounting vouchers such as reconciliation, advance, payment, liability, sale invoice and receipt
  • Work closely with accountant to ensure daily data entry and routine cash balancing
  • Other works may be assigned by Head of Business and Finance
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • University degree in Finance/Accounting
  • Must have knowledge of accounting software systems
  • Minimum 2 years accounting experience is advantage
  • Ability to work independently and accurately
  • Hardworking, trustworthy, flexible and good team work
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet a critical deadlines if required
  • Good speaking, reading and writing in English and Khmer
