Accounting and Finance Officer (1 Position)

- Position Purpose: To ensure supplier invoices, payment transactions, accounts payable records processed accurately, completely, timely maintain good supplier relationships support uninterrupted operations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Invoice Management
- Monitor on invoices for tuition fees, meals, transportation services, swimming
- classes, exam fees, field trips, and entrance tests.
- Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of all invoices.
- Parent/Guardian Communication
- Distribute invoices to parents/guardians via Telegram or other approved
- communication channels.
- Provide clarification or support regarding billing when required.
- Payment Collection
- Review of Receipts and keep update AR aging
- Follow up with parents/guardians for outstanding or overdue payments.
- Maintain proper records of all collections.
- Tax Filing
- Prepare and submit monthly tax declarations in compliance with government regulations and yearly tax.
- Prepare proper report submit to Finance coordinator review it before uploading.
- Banking Transactions
- Conduct banking activities include depositing cash, withdrawing funds, and currency exchange.
- Ensure proper documentation for all bank transactions.
- Financial Closing
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Coordinate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Prepare monthly direct cashflow reports
- Present accurate monthly financial report to BoD
- Event Supporting
- Assist with financial tasks related to school events, including budgeting, expense tracking, and payment

Expected Profile of Candidates
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Additional training or certification in accounting or taxation is an advantage. is required
Work History:
- Accounting and Finance Officer in Educational (Schools, Universities) for 1 to 2 years
- Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or related roles for 2 to 3 years as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
- Experience in the education sector is an advantage but not required.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software; experience with iBanking systems is a plus.
Soft Skills
- Good communication skills, especially in liaising with parents, staff, and management.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
