Accounting and Administrative Assistant
Location: Phnom Penh and other provinces

Salary: 250 – 300 USD and staff benefits

Role and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of Finance and Administration Manager and in close coordination with colleagues in operational department, as well as support departments the Accountant/Administrative Assistant is responsible for the following duties:
- Accountant Duties
- Ensure sufficient cash supply, check, and enter all financial transactions into accounting software
- Issue check-payments bank to transfers supplier after verifying payment request
- Manage/follow-up balance sheet accounts.
- Perform monthly & yearly accounting closing and other necessary closing documents to dispatch to HQ in Italia.
- Check F&A manual for updated and implement new instructions and policies
- Be aware of financial procedures.
- Manage the treasury situation, make monthly forecast, and follow-up transfers from HQ in Italia.
- Up to the limit defined in the Financial Rules, review and approve supply request’s internal requests.
- Support F&A Manager in the yearly budget process, notably budget entries
- Manage the bank accounts in accordance with Helpcode procedures
- Reply to Accounting comments (internal audit) and take necessary actions
- Declare monthly income withholding tax with taxation office, process NSSF payment and insurance payment and other related duties.
- Administrative Duties:
- Handles correspondence with the headquarters, Helpcode offices, and regional Italia office regarding, vacations, End of Mission and other admirative information linked with the mobile staff members.
- Establishes the Mission’s official welcome file, briefs new staff and Helpcode visitors about Welcome procedures.
- Handles all formalities related to the establishment/extension of residence visas, permits, licenses etc for mobile staff based in Cambodia and is in charge of relevant contacts with Ministries and government offices.
- Assists with the travel needs including transportation, flight booking and hotel of Helpcode staff and visitors.
- Organizes the venue and accommodation for visitors and the project Activities and other events.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, administration, or similar field.
- Minimum 1 years’ experience or fresh graduated in a similar position
- Cambodian national only
