La Plantation, founded in 2013, is a family business specializing in pepper and spice production in Cambodia. La Plantation is recognized as an innovative leader and a major player in this sector and manages a remarkable agri-tourism site in the Kampot region of south-west Cambodia. La Plantation markets a range of more than 100 products in its various shops in Cambodia (on the farm, in Kampot, Phnom Penh and Siem Reap), via a network of retailers in the country and for export to more than 40 countries (via distributors).

Account Payable & Administration Assistant

Position Summary

The Account Payable & Administration Assistant is responsible for processing supplier invoices, preparing payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the daily administrative operations of the company. This role ensures timely payments, proper documentation, and smooth coordination between finance and admin departments.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Account Payable Duties
  • Receive, check, and verify supplier invoices and supporting documents.
  • Ensure all invoices have proper approval before processing.
  • Record invoices into the accounting system accurately and on time.
  • Prepare payment vouchers and support documents
  • Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on discrepancies.
  • Maintain proper filing of AP documents (soft & hard copies).
  • Assist with month-end closing related to accounts payable.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding payment issues or missing documents.
  • Administrative Duties
  • Support office administration such as stationery control, office supplies, and equipment.
  • Maintain administrative records, employee attendance, and documents.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and visitors when necessary.
  • Coordinate courier services, mail distribution, and office maintenance.
  • Provide general administrative support to other departments.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • Khmer - Good
  • English - Medium
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in accounting or administrative roles (fresh graduates encouraged to apply).
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and AP procedures.
  • Able to communicate in Khmer and basic English (reading and writing)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and other.
Soft Skills
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
