Heads are academic leaders who have academic, administrative, quality assurance and fiscal responsibilities for a school. Currently we are looking for a Head of School in Hospitality, Tourism & Leisure.
- Manage the daily operations of an academic school, covering the management of programs, lecturers, students and classroom administration.
- Provide strong leadership to the school staff and teaching faculty.
- Teach to understand the learning environment of our students so as to adopt initiatives to enhance their learning experience.
- Supervise and train the teaching faculty on EAMU’s Way of teaching, smooth conduct of classes, assessments and activities to support good academic performance
- Develop and collaborate with local hospitality businesses and communities for enhancements of our HTL programmes, including internships and job opportunities.
- Manage to achieve maximum progressions and completion through proper record of student attendance, conduct and performance.
- Manage the activities of both pre- and post- stages of each teaching semester, including course planning, resources management and class scheduling
- Improve the Hospitality Training Centre to support the academic courses so that our students gain practical skills to make them employment ready.
- Develop initiatives and execute proactive actions to enhance the academic QA.
- Work with Director of Academic for compliance, approval and adjustments of existing and development of new courses.

- Master's Degree in / A Doctorate qualification in the Hospitality and Tourism field.
- At least of management experience as HOS at the university level for 3 years
- Hands-on managerial experience of the hotel operations is a MUST.
- Working experience in international hotel group/ chain is preferred.
- Fluent in English. You are expected to communicate daily in English
- Possess good computer skills (MS Office - Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.)
- Strong work ethics, responsible and a passion for teaching.
- Strong network of trainers and academic faculty is an advantage
