Full-time, 2-year fixed-term contract based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Finance & Operations Officer to join our Cambodia team. Reporting to the Finance & Operations Managers, you will support the day-to-day financial and operational activities of the country office, including finance, procurement, logistics, administration, and spectacle distribution. Working closely with colleagues, partners, suppliers, and service providers, you will help ensure the smooth delivery of programs, maintain strong financial and operational practices, and support compliance with organisational and donor requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Finance and Administration
  • Support financial administration, payments, budgeting, reporting, and audit activities.
  • Assist with donor reporting, compliance requirements, and financial record management.
  • Procurement
  • Support procurement activities, supplier management, and contract administration in line with Foundation policies and local requirements.
  • Spectacle Logistics and Distribution
  • Monitor spectacle inventory and coordinate the distribution of spectacles to project sites and partners.
  • Support quality checks and maintain relationships with suppliers and service providers.
  • Operations Support
  • Coordinate travel, meetings, workshops, and other operational activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide general administrative support to the country office.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • English - Good
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Work History:
  • Experience in finance, operations, administration, or a similar role for 4 years as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Experience working with donor-funded projects.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, and financial controls.
  • Knowledge of Cambodian regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships and work with people from different backgrounds.
  • Good written and spoken English.
Soft Skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
