Duties + Requirements
Deputy Director of Training Center
 
  Duties
  • Identify “core competencies” of workforce, with each project heads and HR &OD
  • Identifying training and development needs within an organization. Deploy competency mapping within the whole SOS Children’s Villages Cambodia
  • Keeping training materials up to date, Using IT to produce training materials and manuals Management of all training materials of SOS National Training Center, and organizing the using of training materials in training center (also include e-learning)
  • Designing and developing training and development programs based on both the organization’s and the individual’s needs. Working in a team to produce programs that are satisfactory to all relevant projects in an organization
  • Ensuring that statutory training requirements are met, planning the training title, make training plan monthly, quarterly, amending and revising programs as necessary, in order to adapt to the changes that occur in the work environment, Organize training plan approved, helping line managers and trainers to solve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups. Supervising the work of trainers, management of training center, train instructors and supervisors in techniques and skills for training and dealing with employees
  • Support and develop the feedback of the participants’ evaluation, evaluating training and development programs. Design “development way” for each position. Communicate career development to all employees. Check competency of each employee as requirements, and identify development plan for each employee. Appraisal competency of training center employee periodically, identify quality of workforce as requirements, develop testing and evaluation procedures
  Requirements
  • At least Bachelor degree in management, pedagogy, or other relevant filed, Preferably Master in education, hospitality or related fields
  • Minimum 6 years professional experiences working as training institute or center manager or similar field with INGO, NGO or government
  • Excellence for computer literature in Ms. Office, and others, Proficiency in communication and written and spoken English, Being honesty, flexible, willing to learn
  • Have a strong sense of responsibilities, analytical and public speaking skill, Excellent interpersonal skills, team player, leading, facilities, Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Understand strongly of child rights, child protection policy, and international children situation impact or in Cambodia, Respect SOS mission, vision, value, and principles

 
Assistant of Village Director
 
  Duties
  • Plans, organizes, prioritizes and direct household facility maintenance and repairs activities, conducts inspections of house facilities, create and implement long term household capital project plans; manage repairs and replacement of material in office furniture and equipments.
  • Prioritizes and allocates work space among various staff and division; coordinate facility remedy and work space design, coordinates and make decisions regarding the effective utilization of furniture and equipment in all household and department facilities; and make recommendation to DND on proposed facility needs
  • Assume overall management of project development and implementation activities relating to village, family, community, youth, sponsorship and education projects
  • Supervise and mentor project officers, providing with all necessary assistance to ensure that project activities are carried out in a timely manner and with attention to quality, conduct regular meetings to assess progress
  • Conduct staff appraisals, identify and ensure support for staff capacity building needs
  • Collaborate with Deputy National Director to develop ideas that address organizational priorities and provide inputs into strategic and operational planning exercises
  • Develop and manage relationship other NGOs, government officials and appropriate children's authorities, schedule and attend meeting with them as needed to coordinate planning and implementation projects
  Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master degree in management, social development, education or other relevant filed
  • Minimum 3 years professional experiences in Local or International NGOs
  • Excellence for computer literature in Ms. Office, and others
  • Excellent communication and written and spoken English

Family Strengthening Program Outreach Coworker
 
  Duties
  • To work in partnership with government agencies and professionals from a range of statutory, private and voluntary organizations to plan, develop, deliver, monitor and evaluate a range of services for children and families which meet local need and the FSP delivery plan
  • To oversee and assist family support and outreach services, in particular prioritizing the ‘most excluded’ families and to work in a pro-active, non-discriminatory and culturally sensitive manner that encourages all families to access FSP services
  • To support the management and delivery of childcare, play, early learning provision and support to child minders
  • To act as representative for the FSP promoting its ethos and philosophy and strengthening existing links with the community
  • To provide positive role modeling for colleagues, careers and volunteers promoting and supporting good practice and compliance to FSP policies and procedures
  • To maintain good working relationships with all agencies and individuals involved in the management of the project
  Requirements
  • University Degree in social development, management , education or related fields
  • Ability to be a team player and shift from task to task with ease
  • Ability to motivate youth and manage behavioral problems effectively
  • Knowledge of general office/message taking procedures
  • Ability to plan in writing and implement quality program for youth
  • Computer literacy in Ms. Word, Excel and database program
  • Good knowledge and understanding of children’s issues ,child right, and child protection policy
  • Being honesty, flexible, and reliability
  • Respect SOS mission, vision, value, and principles
