OBJECTIVE:
These research grants aim to promote research knowledge and skills of young researchers in area of road safety in Cambodia so that they can have a better understanding on road safety issues and contribute to more effective road safety measures and strategies for national road safety programs.

PRIORITY AREA FOR FUNDING:
The theme of research proposals must be related to road safety issues in Cambodia.
Grant Awarded Information

SIX GRANTS (in total) ARE AWARD FOR:

• Bachelor thesis research ($300 per grant);
• Master thesis research ($300 per grant);
• Individual and/or group non-thesis research ($300 per grant).

ELIGIBILITY
Grants are open to Cambodian students who are pursing Bachelor and/or Master Degree.

• Grant for Bachelor thesis research: Students who are at the fourth year of their Bachelor study and need to fulfill thesis writing requirement;
• Grant for Master thesis research: Students who are at the second year of their Master study and need to fulfill thesis writing requirement;
• Grant for individual and/or group non-thesis research: Anyone who is interested in road safety issues in Cambodia and/or want to build his/her the research skills on road safety.

The field activities of the proposed research/thesis should be conducted in Cambodia.

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTION:
Interested applicants should submit their research/thesis proposal in English language by using the contact details below. The proposal should contain a title, name and contact of author(s), a concise description of the research objectives, methodology and work plan. The proposal should be less than 5 pages of A4 size, including one page attachment of an approval/supported letter from a university professor/lecturer, who acts as a thesis/research advisor. Additional pages are allowed for author(s)’s CVs.
