Project Officer
Duties
- Particular project including project design, monitoring and financial management
- Facilitate and coordinate CF under his/her supervision
- Under assistant of CF, take a leading in preparing , organizing and facilitating the all field activities of CT program including commune meetings, trainings and media visit and so on by keep in touch with FACT fisher networks, CBOs and sub-national government including commune councillors and line agencies
- Assist Program Coordinator in preparing and organizing provincial, regional and national meeting, training, workshop and other key events as proposed in the program activities.
- PO, play as FACT and PC representation in all relevant activities to be implemented by competent authorities, NGOs network and sub-national government agencies at the ground level such as attending of CIP discussion process and other meetings to ensure FACT reputation and fisher benefit
- Report and update the progresses and challenges in regarding to program implementation at the ground level to PC, and provide feedbacks on the challenges program faced to PC for addressing.
- Work in hand with CF in providing regular consultations on some particular issues that CBOs members, TFNs and CCF face in order to them to be able to address their issues including coaching and mentoring to those target beneficiaries as well
- Work in hand with CF in recording or tracking all program achievements by using field monitoring and training sheet and entry into database sheet for reporting
- Participate in CT annual work plan drafting, semester, quarter, monthly and weekly work plan of TS program through CT annual meeting and monthly CT program meeting
- Develop weekly work plan for delivering program activities in respective target communes and field report writing for the program
- Other tasks require from PC
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Rural Development, Natural Recourse, Fisheries, Agriculture or other related field. Master degree is advantage
- At least 3 years experience in community based organizations strengthening
- Ability in participatory assessment, proposal writing, planning, budgeting, M&E, financial and project management
- Experience to work with local partners, local authority; and communities
- Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
- Knowledge and experiences in aquaculture; mangrove restoration; Nurseries establishment and management
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, E-mail and Internet);
- Strong written and verbal proficiency in English and Khmer
